Finnish locomotive down winter chill

SJ-chief Crister Fritzson argue that it is much better than a year ago to handle the cold and snowy weather. Better deicing and more canceled trains will ease the pressure when the snow hits. Soon it's time to see if it holds in practice.
Crister Fritzson, president of SJ, makes no representation that the trains candy scoop will go perfectly. There are probably not many people expect. The question is more about the trains will at least get less bad than before if it gets very cold and snow to come.
In a major review by the National Audit Office came with the beginning of December pointed investigators partly because the government has not given state bodies and train companies sufficient conditions to prevent delays, which among other things caused by severe winter weather.
- We've done everything we can to prepare us for the snow and cold. We also saw that we handled the storm Sven pretty good and it shows that we can deal with snow much better than a year ago, says Crister Fritzson in an interview with Svenska candy scoop Dagbladet Enterprise.
He also points out that SJ recently invested a lot in trains and carriages candy scoop for them to be more reliable. This involves everything from that they can manage wildlife accidents better to icing are faster.
Just icing has been a major problem. A train that winter goes between Stockholm and Gothenburg accumulate a ton of ice. Before then do maintenance on the train have to remove the ice and it took 8-9 hours earlier. Now it is possible in 2-3 hours.
For passengers, it means that the risk increases to train they intend to go with is not going at all. The comfort is well that the risk on the other hand decreases for them to be sitting out in the woods somewhere in a train stuck in the snow. They stuck at home and not out on the trail.
