It was many days I wanted to do this cake, either this or a similar Irish coffee at home because we love, and when a little too much cream (ie almost never) do an Irishman. The excuse has been the combination get their hands on the book of Alma Obregon, Objective: perfect cake and celebration special wedding anniversary.
Basically I made the recipe suggests Alma but with a personal touch, and it has been really good actually eating me slowly because never ends! So superrrr recomanableeeee! The combination of coffee at the touch of whiskey and chocolate is irresistible ...
80 ml. oil (I've put the sunflower is always smooth). 250 gr. 150g brown sugar. flour 50g. unsweetened cocoa powder 2 teaspoons yeast 2 eggs 150 ml. 150 ml of milk. hot coffee (about two cups of coffee).
Now beat the sunflower oil with sugar and eggs. Once well mixed add the flour and baking cocoa, and when all is well integrated are incorporating cream and sugar set milk and hot coffee and mix it well. You will see that we have too much liquid, but do not worry, this is normal.
When the sponges are already cooked, remove from the oven, let them enfredar 5 minutes, the puncture with a toothpick and sprinkle with the syrup. Then unmold and let cool just a fence.
Sift the icing sugar and cocoa. Add butter and milk cream point and beat it, covering the bowl with a towel, low speed for one minute. After you climb speed and beat for 5 minutes more. Ummm what paints! I love this chocolate!
And now we only need to mount the cake. If you can match the sponge, but I have not done. I have placed a cake, I finished wet well with the syrup that I had a good layer of chocolate, the other cake, cream and more syrup, and finally cream and sugar set the last cake soaked in syrup sold.
We lack the finishing touch to what is a non Irish cream?? I do not know, but in any case not an Irishman. So assemble the cream, add the sugar and decorate the cake on any Irish coffee. Oh! and do not forget the retail end, put a little cream and sugar set cocoa powder.
